Amazon predicts this year’s deals will deliver “record breaking sales.”
Last year, Prime members purchased 398 items a second!
Here’s how to get the best deals:
1. Use your Wishlist.
Use the “Wishlist” feature on the site and see if there are any deals on items you have saved. Anything with a good price drop is worth thinking about purchasing.
2. Click fast.
The deals will go fast, so if you think you see something you like, click Buy to put the item in your cart and reserve it for 15 minutes.
3. Compare prices.
Make sure to Google products and use a third-party price-tracking service to see the item’s historical prices to make sure it’s really a good deal.
4. If your item sells out, shop around.
Stores are trying to keep up with Prime Day by launching competing sales on the same day, including price-matching deals. So if something sells out, look elsewhere.
5. Watch out!
The number of Chinese counterfeiters selling on Amazon.com has exploded this year, so you need to watch out for prices that seem too good from sellers you’ve never heard of.
